JOIN OUR TEAM – PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR
Due to our recent growth and service needs, Cloud 360 Accounting are now seeking to hire a Payroll Administrator to join our team.
The role will be on a part time, permanent basis. Applications from independent and freelance payroll specialists will also be considered, alongside a hybrid working arrangement (i.e. in office and at home).
The role:
As our Payroll Administrator you will play a key role in delivering weekly and monthly payroll services to our client portfolio, along with the opportunity to maintain and develop your skills in our award winning accounting firm. The role will involve (but not limited to):
- Processing payroll as per the required time frames with a high degree of accuracy
- Pension processing, filing and dealing with auto enrolment requirements
- Dealing with client enquiries
- Dealing with HR enquiries from clients and liaising with our HR contacts to respond to enquiries
- Ensuring that our clients comply with all HMRC requirements (P45, P60, P11D, Benefit in Kind, Salary sacrifice)
- Maintain your knowledge on all areas of payroll and pension regulations
- Provide relevant reports and analysis when necessary using payroll software
- Other finance and admin tasks as required
Key requirements:
- Experience in a busy finance team in a similar role
- Specialist knowledge of requirements for accurate payroll processing, including HMRC and wider legal considerations
- Excellent communication skills to work with multiple clients across a range of induties (face to face, telephone and digital communications)
- Amazing organisational skills with attention to detail
- Awareness / understanding of commercial acumen
- Be a great team player
- Ability to liaise with HMRC to resolve issues on client payroll submissions
- Demonstrating a growth mindset alongside our core values including a positive, solution focused outlook
- Experience with Microsoft products (outlook, excel, word), Google sheets, Xero Payroll, Brightpay
- Experience in handling CIS returns for contractors would be an advantage
